2008 Meeting Programs

Featured Speaker: Mr. J. Scott Enroughty
Program Title: “Operations Military Kids”

The Granville County Genealogical Society 1746, Inc. will hold its regular monthly meeting in the Conference Room at the Richard H. Thornton Library on Main Street in Oxford at 6:30 PM on May 1, 2008 with J. Scott Enroughty of NC State University in Raleigh as the featured speaker.

Mr. Enroughty has a long history of involvement in youth programs, primarily through the North Carolina State 4-H Development Office, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, North Carolina State University. Presently he is the project manager for NC Operation Military Kids, NC 4-H Youth Development Facilities Coordinator: Industrial Extension Service. During his presentation at the May 1st meeting, he will discuss the NC Operation Military Kids program.

Members and guests are cordially invited to attend this program at Thornton Library on the first Thursday night in May. The meeting, to be held in the Thornton Library Conference Room, will begin at 6:30 P.M. on May 1, 2008. The meeting is open to the public.
